HFR-016: Having Fun continues its King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Bootlegger Series with a pollinator/bee inspired shaped picture disc album for Record Store Day. The album features the songs Big Fig Wasp, Superbug, Grow Wings and Fly, and Great Chain of Being taken from live performances from 2024 and 2025. $1 from each album sold will benefit Pollinator Partnership Canada ‘Bee City Canada’ signature program that works with Canadian cities, schools, and businesses to protect pollinators. Our inspiration for the release format came from our own fractional bee hive ownership through the Toronto Bee Rescue that our label has participated in for the past few years and has our own ‘We Are Buzzy Bodies’ pun-friendly honey for as a result.
